A Bit About Amanda

Amanda Vallance is the heart behind Avian Adventures Australia, bringing a passion for birds, conservation, and education to every adventure. As an experienced bird photographer, wildlife guide, and educator, Amanda has dedicated her career to helping people of all ages connect with nature through birdwatching, photography, and immersive outdoor experiences.
 

With a deep respect for Australia’s natural heritage and Indigenous knowledge, Amanda offers guided birdwatching tours, nature workshops, and hands-on photography sessions tailored for all skill levels. These experiences are designed to enhance bird identification skills, improve photography techniques, and foster a deeper appreciation for Australia’s diverse birdlife.
 

Amanda’s expertise extends beyond the lens—she is a passionate advocate for conservation, ethical wildlife observation, and fostering a lifelong love of birds. Whether leading a dawn birding walk, teaching photography techniques, or sharing Indigenous perspectives on bird behavior, Amanda’s enthusiasm and knowledge make every experience unforgettable.
